Fun times :)

Last weekend was so great because Jay didn't have to go to work on Saturday. So, on Friday he went out with his friend and when he came home early morning I woke up too. Neither of us were tired, so we just chatted and laughed and just had so much fun :) I enjoyed that early morning with my hubbies company a lot! Finally we fell asleep. In the morning I made banana bread and went to the food shop.When I got back Jay woke up as well. We had agreed that he'll make a dinner. He went to the easiest way and bought frozen pizza and baked it in the oven. It was very good! And I just liked the fact that I didn't have to cook :) The same evening we went to the cinema to see Dracula. It was such a good movie! When we walked back from the movies we laughed again so much and had such a nice time together! I think it was one of the best days together in a while. He's been working so much and he has weekends off very seldom. Luckily upcoming Saturday he's off again and we are planning on going to the cinema again :)

On Sunday my sister Anni-Brit came to visit us. So, in the morning I made banana cake. I asked dad over too so there would be more people to eat that cake :D Anni and I went to the shops, watched a movie (A Single Moms Club) and just caught up on each others lives. She's going back to Estonia on Thursday morning.

The weather has been pretty changing. Saturday was super sunny but cold. Sunday was not cold but so rainy. And Monday and Tuesday were cold, but cloudy. Today actually even snowed a bit. Because the weather has mostly been cold I have been eager to bake :D Halloween is coming closer and at work we are preparing for our Halloween party (doing decorations, planning activities ect). My friend from work found canned pumpkin puree (we were all looking for it everywhere, but couldn't find). But she found it and I asked her to buy me two cans. I had never had any pumpkin sweets (pumpkin pie or pumpkin cookies..). Yesterday when I got the puree I knew that when I got home I would make something. I made pumpkin cookies with chocolate chips. They were sooooo delicious! Recipe will be up soon as well :) I never thought they could taste SO good! I am definitely addicted and I have a new favorite thing to bake now!

Over all these past few days have been so much fun and I have been enjoying my time with Johannes and my sister!

4 days in Estonia

We had a nice 4-days vacation in Estonia. On our first day we visited Jay's dad in Tallinn, went to the movies to see Transformers: Age of Extinction, and enjoyed good food! Very first thing we did was renting a car. We got a nice Skoda Superb that looked so cool and pretty! And it was so comfortable to drive it! Anyway, that was Wednesday. We stayed at my sister's house. Next morning we started our drive to Pärnu. We visited Jay's grandmother on the way there. So, we spent about an hour in Türi. I love her garden. It's kinda exotic and flowers are just soo tall! Love it :) And it was really old and small swing set there. I was swinging, eating gooseberries and blackcurrants. Summer, oh how I love it!

Then we kept driving and soon we arrived to Pärnu. First, we found our hotel and registered in. Our hotel room was very cozy and homey! Very clean and just lovely for a couple :) We were pretty hungry so we went to have a lunch at restoran Kroon. I really recommend their food! I got a stuffed pancake with mushrooms, zucchini and salad and for drink I had delicious fresh berry smoothie. After that food I was so full but at the same time I felt so good :) After that we went to the beach where we spent rest of our day. The weather was very nice and the sea water was just perfect! Only negative thing was that you have to walk soooo long before you can actually swim because the water just isn't deep.

On the third day we decided to go to the water center Tervise Paradiis. We spent there over three hours and had so much fun :) We got to slide down these crazy tubes, sunabath at the balcony, I drank so yummie strawberry-mint smoothie and more and more swimming! I have always been afraid of jumping to the water, but finally I had courage to do it..and sure I kept jumping and jumping because I really liked it :D

So, after the long day in the water we had dinner ar Steffani's and then we drove back to Kohila where we stayed overnight. 

Next morning we visited my grandparents and then went to Tallinn and gave back the rental car. We still had about 6 hours until we had to go to the ship, so we walked around. There were Sea days near harbour. We also went to the Energy center (which was pretty borning) and then we had lunch and went to the movies to see Dawn of the Planets of the Apes. It was quite good :)

There 4 days were so nice :) We really got to enjoy ourselves, we laughed a lot, took our time with things and just relaxed and enjoyed warm summer days!

vacation in Estonia

Kirjutan nüüd lähemalt meie puhkusest Eestis. Peale pulmade planeerimise ja pulmade endaga, oli meil Eestis ka palju muid toredaid ja tegusaid päevi. 

Mul õnnestus Eestis haigeks jääda, mis oli ikka päris jube. Ma üldiselt väga tihti haige pole. Seekord aga jäin niimoodi haigeks, et mul oli kõrge palavik, süda paha ning jube nõrk olla. Ka kurk oli vahepeal valus. Kõik see kokku oli nii vastik. Pidin mitu päev järjest voodis olema.. nii igav oli. Isegi siis, kui palavik juba üle oli läinud, olin ma ikka nii nõrk. Tõusin voodist, käisin korra köögis ning juba oli nii väsinud, et tahtsin magada. Kusjuures see nõrkus kestis umbes 5 päeva. Iseenesest olin täiesti terve, aga nii nõrk, et magasin päeval mitu korda. Või siis lihtsalt pidin iga 15 minuti tagant istuma.. Ootasin, mil see nõrkus juba üle läheb. Nädalapärast oligi läinud..

Haigusega seoses jäi mul minemata Marina sünnipäevale ning samuti ei olnud minust eriti abi ema kolimisel. Ma lihtsalt olin nii nõrk. 

Ka Johannesed oli vahepeal paha, aga õnneks päris haigeks ta ei jäänud. Ilmselt oli see päikesest. Nimelt käisime kohe teisel päeval Eestisse jõudes Pärnu rannas. Olime rannas 5 tundi ning kui pärast koju jõudsime, saime aru, kui salakaval see ilm oli. Rannas oli tuuline ning tundus, et päike ei võta, aga tegelikult olime kõik pärast täitsa päevitunud. Johannes isegi liiga - ta põles ära ning järgmised kaks nädalat sai ta oma kehalt nahka koorida :S

Üldjuhul olime oma puhkuse ajal koguaeg Kohilas Merikani ja Janari juures. Aga paar korda käisime ka Tallinnas kinos ning ka paar päeva veetsime hotellis. 

Neil päevil, mil Vanalinnas hotellis ööbisime, käisime Oleviste kiriku tornis oleval vaateplatvormil. See oli väga kihvt! Vaade Vanalinnale ja üldse kogu Tallinnale oli vapustav! 

//Vacation in Estonia was so relaxing. We were staying at my sister's place, but we also spent few days in Tallinn in a hotel. While in Tallinn, we aslo went to the tower of Oleviste church. There was such a good view to Tallinn.//

Tornilt nägime ka, et Paksu Margareeta peal on katusekohvik. Pärast läksimegi sinna. Paksus Margareetas on meremuuseum, mida samuti külastasime. Katusel oli aga jäätise kohvik, kus nautisime ehtsat Itaalia jäätist.

//From the tower we saw a roof cafe that we wanted to go to . It was in Fat Margareta. There was also a Sea museum in the building that we visited. On the roof was an ice-cream cafe!//

Pärast Vanalinnas turistitamist, läksime Lidosse ja siis kinno. Vaatasime filmi "Now You See Me", mis oli väga-väga kaasahaarav ja põnev. Ilmselt üks parimaid filmi, mida ma üle pika aja vaadanud olen! Soovitan soojalt!

//After the sighseeing in Old Town, we went to the Lido where we had delicious dinner. And after that we went to the movies to see "Now You See Me". It's such a good movie!//

Kui me Kohilas viibisime, siis tegelesime palju mu õepoja Jonathaniga, käisime mitu korda päevas poes (sest meestel oli koguaeg õlu ja snäkke juurde vaja) ning mehed tegid ka natuke remonti. Täitsa mõnus oli lihtsalt puhata ja mitte midagi teha :) Vaatasime õhtuti ka filme ning niisama rääkisime palju...nalja sai tõesti palju :D

Merikanil oli vahepeal ka sünnipäev, milleks me tegime ka ettevalmistusi. Süüa valmistasime tegelikult liiga palju. Pärast oli tohutult alles! 

//While we stayed in Kohila we spent a lot of time with my sister's little son Jonathan. He's such a cute and funny little guy! He likes to play with Jay a lot :D 

We aslo watched movies at nights and we celebrated my sister's 26th birthday! //

long day, but fun :)

Oh, kui väsinud ma olen. Jalad valutavad, aga õnneks saan diivanil lösutada ja järjekordset Remontoijate osa vaadata :)

Täna ärkasin kl 8.00, tegin joogat ja siis läksin rongiga Helsingisse. Sain seal enda ema ja ta töökaaslastega kokku. Nendega koos külastasin üht Helsingi lasteaeda. Sealne lasteaia juhataja rääkis meile Soome lasteaedae süsteemist ja oma konkreetsest lasteaiast. Väga huvitav oli kuulata ja seda kõike Eesti lasteaedade  õppesüsteemiga võrrelda. Kirjutan kindlasti millalgi pikemalt, mis mõtteid ja muljeid kuuldu minus tekitas ;)

//Oh, I am sooo tired. My feet hurt, but fortunately I can lay on the sofa and watch another episode of Australian Renovaters. 
I woke up 8am today, did joga and went to Helsinki by train. I met my mom and her workmates there. We visited a kindergarten in Helsinki. The kindergarten's principle told us about the systems of Finnish kindergartens and also about their kindergarten. It was all very interesting and also very different from what we have in Estonia. I'll definitely write longer about it some other time (when I am not so tired :P)//

Pärast lasteaia külastust käisime natuke niisama Helsingi peal ringi, tegin ka mõningaid pilte. Sealt edasi läksime sööma ja šoppama. Mina otsisin kingi, aga neid ma ei leidnudki. Lõpuks kui kõik poed olid läbi käidud, läksin tagasi rongile, et koju sõita. Isa oli oma oma võtmed tuppa unustanud ja ise välja läinud - jäi luku taha. Kuna minul on ka tema korteri võti, siis pidingi koju tagasi tulema, et isale võti anda.

Käisin ka CityMarketist läbi, kuna eile saime postiga mõned kupongid, mille viimane kasutamise kuupäev oli täna. Niisiis sain tasuta ühed küpsised ning veel 5 euro eest mida iganes :P Päris mõnna :)

//After visiting the kindergarten I we walked around Helsinki, took some photos, went to have lunch and then did some shopping. I was looking for shoes, but I didn't find the ones I wanted. So, finally I took a train back to Hyvinkää. My dad locked him out so I had to give him his apartment key so he can get home. 
I also went to the CityMarket because I had some coupongs that were expiring today. So, I got free box of cookies and also free stuff in 5 euro value :) Pretty cool!//

Kodus ootas mind ees mu kullakallis mees :) Rääkisime juttu ja ma tegin talle õhtusööki. Ise sõin Helsinkis ühes Hiina söögikohas, kus maksin 8.90 eurot ja võisin nii palju süüa, kui aga jaksasin :P Ega ma nüüd väga palju ka ei söönud, aga kodus tahtsin midagi kergemat...puuviljasalatit :D njämmmaa!

Pärast vaatasime Johannesega Grown Ups 2. Nii naljakas film! Kusjuures, kui me koos päris esimest korda kinos käisime, siis vaatasime Grown Ups esimest osa. See oli 21.august 2010. Uskumatu, kui kiiresti aeg lendab :P

//Jay was waiting me at home. We talked and I made him dinner. I had quite heavy lunch in Helsinki in Chinese foodplace where there was a buffet in 8.90 euros. So, I got to eat as much as I wanted! This means I didn't want any heavy dinner anymore, instead I had my fav delicious foodsalad! 
Then Jay and I watched Grown Ups 2. It's such a funny movie! I remember that the very first time when Jay and I went to the movies together we watched Grown Ups (first movie). It was on 21st August 2010. Time flies!//

Nüüd on Johannes juba teel tööle ning mina puhkan enda välja. Tänane päev oli kuidagi pikk, aga tegus ja tore :)
